With the beginning of the exceptional situation generated by COVID 19 many professionals thought that we would face a new crisis in the real estate sector. The reality, however, has been very different: the sales of properties on the coast and the area of Dénia have maintained a steady and growing pace,generating even lack of new product to meet the demand of both domestic and foreign customer.
It is true, that the type of property requested does have clear characteristics: in apartments, essential terrace or large balconies preferably with open views. Likewise, townhouses with some garden and well-located single-family windows are highly sought after properties. On the contrary, urban flats without terrace hardly generate interest in the post-COVID client.
With regard to prices, contrary to what some expected, they have barely moved, up or down. It is true that sometimes, and linked to the agility of the purchase, some "aggressive" proposals have been accepted regarding the initial price, this is not the general tonic in Dénia.
